“Ghost tracks” is a compilation of previously unreleased material spanning from 1992 – 2003. It is only available at concerts or directly from the band’s website, www.daau.com, for about 12 euros.
There is also a really special 200gr silkscreen artwork available, which can be cut and folded to host the CD. It is limited to 100 pieces with each piece being numbered and signed by all four members of the band.
“Ghost Tracks” was produced at the DAAU home studio, mainly by Han, during the “long and hot summer of 2003″. Going through the wealth of unreleased material in the DAAU vaults, he came up with quite a few unusual remixes, collaborations, live versions and almost-finished songs. This is their weirdest, most far-out release, but the adventurous-minded listener will be rewarded with a rollercoaster ride through the wild world of musical anarchism.
The only song off this album that has seen a live performance is “The Piggy Countdown”, which Buni sang live at a Donkey Veggie gig on one occasion.
