Hello. You’ve found daau.yurk.net, the first web site about Die Anarchistische Abendunterhaltung on the net. Whether you’re just finding out about the band or want to learn more about their activities, this is the place for you.
The first version of this site went online in 1999, at a time where you could hardly find any information about DAAU online. I started gathering concert listings, building a discography, collecting pictures and generally doing all the “usual” things. Those were still the old days of the net.
The site even attained semi-official status for a brief period from 2000 until about 2002, when the band set up their own web site, www.daau.com.
In 2004 there was a major redesign of the site, and another one in 2009 which is the incarnation you are looking at.
I’ve seen them play more than 30 times (not counting side projects) and although based in Berlin now, I still travel to gigs as time permits. Needless to say, I also collect anything (live recordings, scans of flyers or tickets, photos…) of the band. Get in touch.
