The frantic pace of touring continues from the first days of January. The band plays every youth house, rock club and theatre in the country until mid-February. After excursions to France, Spain and South Africa (!), the band stops touring and begin recording their second album, “We Need New Animals”.
Sadly, I know of almost no live recordings from 1997. If you have any, please do step forward – surely some amazing shows must have been played in this year.

This concert was part of a tour of South Africa. Filmmaker Carsten Rasch filmed the entire concert. Footage of the show, as well as a bit of DAAU jamming together with Springbok Nude Girls, were used in a documentary movie.
